For Fun:
I love Bikram Yoga. If you're not familiar with this type of yoga, it basicaly consists of 26 poses done in a 105 degree heated room. Sweat, sweat, sweat. But it is completely exhilerating. I am also an avid runner. In August I took part in the Nike Human Race 10K in which there were millions of participants worldwide. I came in 197,000 out of over a million. I also just completed the Army 10 Miler on Octber 5, 2008, in Washington, DC. Now I am shooting for running the half-marathon in April here in Austin. I am also very into making jewelry. Shiny stuff makes me happy.

I love playing with my dogs. I have a 155lb Black Great Dane, a Beagle, and a Lab/Hound mix (He is the one that rotates on my home page image). They love the dog parks here in Austin, especially Bullcreek and Red Bud Isle. While I garden, my dogs will hang out with me in the yard and lay in the sun. They are fun and super lazy.

Every year I have a crawfish boil. Not everyone will eat the mud bugs but we have a great time anyway.

Football season is also a big deal in my house. We tail gate for every UT home game they have and it is an all-out, all day affair that involves lots of food, drinks, and horseshoes. We usually have about 4 tents set up and a big flat screen with satellite so that we don't miss any of the action. It's true.

Angus and Me last Easter

Creative side:
I think this began when I was in Kindergarden and I won a blue ribbon for a watercolor of a clown that I painted and entered in the Montgomery County Fair. My art classes continued into highschool where I expanded into photograhy for the yearbook. After a few major shifts in college (i.e. geology and physical therapy majors), I ended up where I should be in the art department. The computer was first being used as a tool for art and I had found my passion.


Personality:
I am a pretty outgoing and easy person to get along with. I like to laugh and to be around people who make me laugh. I am deeply caring and passionate about what I do. I am ambitious and have a thirst for new technology. I like to make things that I am involved with fun and interesting.


Goals:
I love what I do and see myself doing it for a very long time. I strive to make my mark on all that I do. My main goal in life is to be happy and have a great time at work and have a great life outside of work. I live to laugh.
